The team has come together to pursue operational and financial excellence in the field of dust control and soil stabilization. They have a combined passion to develop Talon Dust Control to serve its customers in the harsh desert environments of the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region. Amr is an executive with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) where he is currently responsible for building the largest Coral Garden and Coral Nursery in the world in NEOM as a part of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious 2030 vision. Amr had a number of senior appointments in the past with Aramco and KAUST, among his most recent appointment was the Director of Facilities Management overseeing more than half a million square meter of academic/administrative facilities that were LEED certified, managing more than 3,000 staff and the operation and maintenance of an entire city that included more than 3,500 residential units, schools, recreational and health care facilities.
Mason has over 30 years’ experience with the development of soil stabilization and dust control technology and services in both Australia and internationally. Originally involved with a major brick manufacturing business, Mason specialized in clay materials and has continued commercializing various earth control technologies for the mining, government, agriculture, military, and oil & gas industries. Mason is a senior member of Australia’s leading dust control company and is involved in business development, dust control services and procurement technology transfer in international markets. Rainstorm is a well renown brand with international presence in Asia, South America, and India.
Dr. Shahid has over 20 years of global business experience working across South-East Asia, the Sub-Continent, East Africa, and Latin & South America across the financial services, agri-business, renewable energy, and education sectors. He focuses on generating revenue growth, new market opportunities, the design and implementation of organizational structures, systems & processes, and emphasis on delivering well-articulated value propositions. Dr. Shahid provides consulting to start-ups, SMEs & NGOs, and he is also currently teaching in the faculty of Management & Marketing at Curtin University of New Technology. He teaches across start-up business planning, business sustainable development, global freight transport systems, and strategic operations management. His research areas include co-operatives, SMEs, natural capital, and financial literacy.
